Cotswolds April 2010

After Easter 2010 Paul and Anne spent a few days staying at Broadway in the Cotswolds.

High Street Broadway - our hotel is on the right. We went on a trip on the GWR railway from Toddington to Cheltenham return.

We had a walk up to the Broadway Tower - and saw lots of sheep ! ...and some deer !

Snowshill Manor - a National Trust property near Broadway that was really interesting. On the way back we stopped at Lacock Abbey, another National Trust House - where the first Harry Potter films were made.
Lacock Abbey also houses the Fox Talbot Museum which celebrates the achievements of former Lacock resident, William Henry Fox Talbot, famous for his contributions to the invention of photography Anne outside Lacock Abbey
